- Assisting localities with Total Maximum Daily Loads administered by the state
- Creating Implementation Plans

- Facilitates regular meetings of local government staff to provide analysis and share information
- Supports localities as they comply with stormwater permits administered by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ)
- Provides updates on legislative and regulatory activities that may impact local stormwater management programs
- Coordinates and develops regional training opportunities
