The next meeting of the Coastal Resiliency Working Group will be on Friday, March 12, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The focus of the discussion will be on incorporating climate scenarios into precipitation standards and IDF curves. The Chesapeake Bay Program has been working with the RAND Corporation on a project to develop IDF curves for the Chesapeake Bay watershed that reflect different climate scenarios and time horizons. Dr. Michelle Miro from RAND will give a brief overview of the project. This work will feed into our discussions about recommendations for climate resilient design standards later this year.
Please RSVP to Ben McFarlane (bmcfarlane@hrpdcva.gov) by COB on Wednesday, March 10th if you are planning to attend.
Since the HRPDC’s offices remain closed to the public, the meeting will be held virtually via Webex. Details for accessing the meeting are included below.
