You are cordially invited to attend a Focus Group meeting on May 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. 10 12:00 p.m. to review the Draft Technical Specifications and Standard Details for the upcoming 6th Edition of the Regional Construction Standards. The meeting will be held in the HRPDC Board Room, 723 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, VA.

If you agree to attend this meeting, you will be provided access to the draft Technical Specifications and Standard Details that have been developed by the Technical Review Committee. The attached Review Form must be completed and returned to our Consultant, (Bob Sciacchitano, CDM Smith), by no later than May 12, 2016. On the review form you will be asked to identify topic(s) in any particular section or detail that you would like to discuss at the Focus Group meeting. The Consultant will then combine all the topics for discussion into one document which will become the meeting agenda. There is no need to review the entire document, but please consider reviewing the sections/details that represent your greatest level(s) of expertise.

By 2015, use of the document exceeded a construction value of over $1.1 billion, encompassing over 1000 Hampton Roads locality projects undertaken since 2002.
