Many are concerned about the impact of the full year Continuing Resolution that was enacted last week on the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Housing Counseling Program. These budget cuts to the program will be painful for many HUD-approved housing counseling agencies and the communities served. The Department hopes to provide new housing counseling funding through the FY 2012 budget that will soon begin to be developed with Congress.
