The HRHC Board of Directors recently announced Governor Terry McAuliffe will attend the Ninth Annual Hampton Roads Housing Consortium (HRHC) Awards. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that exemplify the best Hampton Roads has to offer in advocating and providing for safe and affordable housing. This year’s annual awards breakfast will be held, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Joan Kroc Center in Norfolk, Virginia. The HRHC is staff supported by the HRPDC Housing staff.
"We are pleased to have the Governor join us this year and it demonstrates his commitment to addressing the need for safe, adequate, and affordable housing in Virginia. The housing needs in the Hampton Roads region are very unique and we are grateful to have Governor McAuliffe visit," said Karen P. Munden, HRHC Chair.
This year’s award recipients will be announced in September. More information will be available in the next few weeks on the Consortium’s website, http://www.hamptonroadshousing.org.
