Join the HRPDC staff this weekend (August 28-30) at the Africana Virginia Beach Music Festival in the 24th Street Park on the Oceanfront. This annual event celebrates family, music and culture of the African-American community.
HRPDC staff will be on hand all weekend to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the PDC as well as some of our projects such as ENVISION Hampton Roads. ENVISION Hampton Roads is an effort to develop Hampton Roads’ first regional strategic plan. We are hoping to engage as many residents as possible to establish a shared regional vision that leads to Hampton Roads being an even better place to live, work, play, learn, and visit.
Representatives from askHRgreen.org will also be on hand to discuss tips on how to make your home, yard, and office “greener.” The folks at askHRgreen recently released a list of eco-friendly tips for “Back to School” check out the list HERE.
