As part of the 10th anniversary of askHRgreen.org, the team behind the regional environmental education program is challenging residents of the 757 to tackle new green habits in 2022. Many eco-conscious residents are recycling paper, plastic bottles, and metals cans, keeping grease out of household drains, and choosing tap over bottled water. The Level Up Challenge running now until April, challenges everyone to add at least one new green habit to their daily routine. Clean communities not only have thriving natural systems, they are also great places to live, work, and play and make our region attractive for business and tourism. What more can YOU do to help keep Hampton Roads clean and green in 2022?
Participants who accept the challenge and complete the online form by January 31, 2022, will receive a free askHRgreen.org reusable tote bag. Those who report on their new activities by April 1 will be in the running to win a Hampton Roads “staycation” grand prize (with the winner to be announced on Earth Day).
