HUD Announces new FY11 Median Income Numbers

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is required by law to set income limits that determine the eligibility of applicants for HUD's assisted housing programs.  Some areas experienced a fall in income limits from previous years due to HUD eliminating its long standing “hold harmless” policy. HUD eliminated the “hold harmless” policy to ensure better alignment between an area’s most recent income experience and the income thresholds for housing assistance.  The HRPDC Staff has reviewed the current income limits and all localities were not affected by this ruling.  To view the new median income limits for our region, please use the following link:
