HREMC Promotes Hurricane Preparedness On Cox Connections

Members of the Hampton Roads Emergency Management Committee (HREMC) were recently featured on Cox Connections regarding hurricane preparedness. In the video HREMC members Bert Conley, Cox Communications, and Hui-Shan Walker, Hampton Emergency Management, discuss the steps that both individuals and businesses can take to get prepared.   • Evaluate your need for flood insurance.

HREMC membership includes Hampton Roads Emergency Management officials and individuals with responsibilities in emergency management in the Hampton Roads area. The purpose of HREMC is to promote the inter-jurisdictional and inter-agency coordination of emergency management issues and foster emergency preparedness in the Hampton Roads area. The HRPDC Emergency Management Staff is a member of HREMC and reminds everyone to be prepared this hurricane season.
