The HRPDC’s environmental education program, HR Green
, has partnered with Waste Management and LG, through Keep America Beautiful, to provide FREE electronics recycling to residents and businesses in Hampton Roads. This is a unique opportunity for businesses which usually have to contract with and pay private recycling companies. Participants are allowed to bring up to one pickup truck full of electronics. Both events will run from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm or until the trailer is full. Document shredding and plastic bag recycling will also be available. Participants who bring five used plastic bags for recycling will receive a handy, reusable ChicoBag (one per person, while supplies last).
