As a result of retirements and openings, the HRPDC and HRTPO have promoted three staff members to new positions.
Sheila Wilson, Chief Financial Officer, has been with the HRPDC for 17 years. Before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer, Sheila worked in the capacity of Senior Accounting Manager. Sheila’s primary responsibilities are managing the finances of the HRPDC and HRTPO, financial reporting and year-end-audit.
Tiffany Smith, who has been with the HRPDC for 8 years, recently joined the Finance Department as Accounting Manager and will be supporting the daily operations of the Department.
Sharon Lawrence, who recently celebrated her 10th year with the HRPDC, was promoted to Program Support Specialist for the HRPDC/HRTPO Office of Community Affairs and Civil Rights. Sharon will work to support public involvement and community engagement efforts.
In addition to these new assignments, during the Annual Meetings of the HRTPO and HRPDC, the following employees were recognized for length of service milestones with the organizations. They are as follows:
