The HRPDC released the latest Hampton Roads Regional Benchmarking Study at its September meeting. The Benchmarking Study is an annual publication designed to evaluate regional progress across a broad range of categories. The publication includes a locality profile for each of the region’s 16 jurisdictions who were members of the HRPDC as of June 30, 2014, as well as graphical illustrations for a myriad of regional benchmarks covering the economy, demographics, housing, transportation, and various quality of life indicators. Each graph is accompanied by a brief explanation regarding the purpose of the benchmark and the current condition in Hampton Roads.
