On September 27th, the Hampton Roads Housing Consortium Chair, Karen Munden announced the HRHC's Eleventh Annual Members' Housing Awards winners. The HRHC serves as a regional vehicle to promote and facilitate excellent and affordable housing opportunities within Hampton Roads. The HRPDC provides staffing support for the HRHC.
The HRHC Housing Awards recognize individuals and organizations that have contributed to improving housing conditions for the region.

The winners will be presented their awards at the Hampton Roads Housing Awards Breakfast 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel, Hampton, VA. Addie Wright Thomason, JD, President and CEO of Second Act Communities and Virginia Beach Community Development Corporation will be the keynote speaker for this event.
Hampton Roads Housing Consortium is very proud to have the opportunity to showcase the wonderful work these individuals and organization have done across the region. HRHC award honorees exhibited dedication and commitment while providing a diverse spectrum of housing needs from affordable community development, services for the homeless, quality rental opportunities and programs that serve our vulnerable populations.
